Russell Pacific Provides Solar Equipment to The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, Saving the Attraction $10,000 Annually
Russell Pacific provided 240, 255-watt solar modules, along with inverters and racking to Synergy Power for an installation at The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah. The system generates about 40 percent of all of the aquarium’s power, saving the attraction about $10,000 a year.
The goal of the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is to provide living “classrooms” that immerse people in natural ecosystems, helping people understand and appreciate their connection to the global system of life. With over 700,000 annual visitors, The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium’s solar installation system reflects the attraction’s commitment to conservation.
